Pantheon of Builders—Sept 20th 2023

·

It's time for another Pantheon of Builders showcase.

We're highlighting amazing Outposts submitted by Custodians around the world. All Outposts featured are chosen by the Meet Your Maker team, and are sorted by Accolade, with the 5th pick being a wild card choice.

A big thank you to all those who submitted, we played some absolutely incredible bases.

If you want to play the magnificent Outposts featured below, enter "PoB” (case sensitive) in the Outpost name search bar in the Social Raid menu.

Here are our latest entrants into the Pantheon of Builders.

1. Artistic

Outpost name: Marshville
Original Builder: BrotherPig

Marshville’s intricate design, overflowing with the perfect decal choices, instantly sets the tone. You see it and can’t help but wonder what sort of atrocities are waiting for you inside. Within its hellish walls you’re met with a thrilling onslaught where you're given a split second to choose between taking out high-priority traps or the guards on the attack. Choose wisely.

For the completionists out there, three hidden vaults with rewards are waiting to be discovered.

2. Fun

Outpost name: Collierville
Original Builder: The Todd

Collierville’s diversity, multiple paths, and scale make this an Outpost to behold. Expect multiple rooms with a barrage of guards and traps to battle through as you scale this behemoth. The use of vertical scale and lighting shine, at times feeling more like you’re raiding a futuristic spaceship as you grapple through and see a blue hue glowing from the outside. There’s more than one way to get to the GenMat in this one. Raiders are encouraged to explore its multiple paths, not just for the exciting and varied challenges, but to admire its sheer beauty.

3. Brutal

Outpost name: Perkasie
Original Builder: destravous

Perkasie starts off with an easy path to a Forsaken Tomb. Perhaps, it’s a peace offering, because what comes next is devastating. The Outpost instantly throws everything it has at you, with a brilliant focus on the Sentry Beam, its reflection, and how different block shapes alter its effect. Do you try to shoot them down and risk losing your ammo, or try to power through, dodging and jumping beams in this claustrophobic maze? Whatever you choose, you’ll need all the luck you can get.

4. Ingenious

Outpost name: Sparta
Original Builder: Twitch.KarEssMoua

Whether you’re a speedrunner or a slower, more methodical Raider, no one is safe from Sparta’s interesting trap combos and level design. The spinning gears, angled blocks, and floor decals give the Outpost a deadly amusement park funhouse feeling, where you’re almost always vulnerable to its tricks. The use of multiple stories for a single path gives you a bit of flexibility in how you can tackle this one. Either way you choose, expect danger.

5. Wild card

Outpost name: Lacon
Original Builder: Schniiisslwuuaar

The wasteland can be unforgiving. Sometimes, you just need a break.

This incredibly ambitious take on Raiding deserves a shoutout. With Lacon, you can sit back, relax, and let the Iron Claws do the work as it takes you through the level. While the claws pull you through within an inch of death, by no means are you completely safe. Be ready to take over if things go wrong. Experienced Raiders may find it hard to not instinctively activate your shield or go for a quick parry with the sword. We definitely don’t blame you.
