Pantheon of Builders—Oct 4th 2023

·

It's time for another Pantheon of Builders showcase.

Here we highlight amazing Outposts submitted by Custodians around the world. All featured Outposts are chosen by the Meet Your Maker team, and sorted by Accolade, with the 5th pick being a wild card choice.

A big thank you to all those who submitted, we’ve played some absolutely incredible bases.

If you want to play any of the Outposts featured below, enter "PoB” (case sensitive) in the Outpost name search bar in the Social Raid menu.

Here are our latest entrants into the Pantheon of Builders.

1. Artistic

Outpost name: Severance
Original Builder: Baldusaur

Almost every corner of Severance features a masterful use of Paint Kits, Decals, and block shapes. Inside its painstakingly detailed exterior is an immense Outpost featuring several rooms that each differ in size and art style. From gigantic halls with colors that pop to tighter tunnels with interesting block shape combos, each section is feast for the eyes. Particularly impressive is the use of Decals, and how different combinations and block shapes can create brand new designs. Try not to stop and stare for too long, however, or you will be unexpectedly introduced to one of the Outpost's many guards.

2. Fun

Outpost name: Emington
Original Builder: RedRozas

The Dreadshore Master Rank Decal at the beginning of the Outpost shows us that we’re dealing with an experienced Builder. This challenging Outpost has you ascend a four-level tower, with a unique trial on each floor. Traverse its spiraling narrow hallways avoiding flying projectiles as Impalers, Iron Claws and a diverse array of guards try to halt your ascent. The Outpost’s focus on vertical traversal makes for some interesting trap combos that may prove difficult to conquer for players who prefer to travel fast. It’s a blast to get through, and we mean that in every sense of the word.

3. Brutal

Outpost name: Foss
Original Builder: b l a m e

A golden Outpost with a detailed design befitting the challenge within. Whether it’s hidden traps raining destruction from above, a ranged assault forcing you to stay in motion, or an army of guards seemingly appearing out of nowhere, every inch of Foss is expertly designed to wipe you out. Strategic placements of traps, tunnels, and ranged guards vastly influence and limit your path forward. You’ll need to not only stay nimble, but also wary of where you land, as Corrosive Cubes or an unexpected Incinerator flame may be your downfall. If the early rooms aren’t enough of a challenge, just remember, it gets progressively more difficult as you go along.

4. Ingenious

Outpost name: Barto
Original Builder: drassell

Barto is a unique towering labyrinth where you weave in and out of never-ending interconnected buildings. Each structure features meticulously paced trap setups and surprise guards that will make sure to keep you on edge and force you to slow down. Your journey to the Genmat is a long and arduous path where you’ll be travelling in seemingly every direction imaginable. Be brave and stick to your route so you don’t get lost, as death means retracing your steps trying to figure out which of the many sections and bridges you last passed through.

5. Wild card

Outpost name: Ellenwood
Original Builder: Dreamnomad

We finish off this iteration of the Pantheon of Builders with Ellenwood, an Outpost that may or may not take place on an arid desert planet home to a precious red resource essential for humanity’s survival. A giant sand worm has risen from the desert, and players must venture deep into the bowels of this behemoth to claim the reward it’s guarding. The worm’s belly is far from uninhabited, however, as it’s packed with relentless guards and a formidable array of traps. Many have entered, few have left. Strategy and quick reflexes are needed to successfully invade and escape this hulking beast.
