10 THINGS YOU WISH YOU KNEW BEFORE PLAYING MEET YOUR MAKER

·

Below you will find tips and tricks the Meet Your Maker Dev Team wished they knew when loading up the game up for the first time.

  1. The more outposts the merrier. You can have up to 5 outposts up at the same time. Simply go to your Command Center and purchase a new Burial Sites using Synthite. Get out there and start building!

  2. Hardware saves lives! Don’t forget to use your hardware but watch out since they are limited. Go to the consumable Advisor, Elpida, to unlock and craft some more.

  3. Upgrade your gameplay by leveling up Advisors. Each Advisor levels up with their own Genetic Material. Match the Advisor and their symbol to those on the world map and get the Genetic Material you need.

  4. Feed the Chimera. Pull the lever next to the Chimera when your Advisor levels up. This will level up the Chimera and earn you chimera points. Visit the Advisor of your choice to spend those points and buy new gear.

  5. Knowledge is power. Every weapon has a unique ability. Visit the weapon Advisor, Chrona, and read up their descriptions to learn more about these.

  6. Look twice die once. Peek around corners to see traps and guards before they can kill you.

  7. Mods are the way to go. All traps and guards can be further customized by mods and augmentations that enhance their basic abilities. Visit the trap and guard Advisors to unlocks these upgrades.

  8. Friends with benefits. Summon a friend in coop to vanquish the toughest outposts or build with them to turbocharge your outpost building time.

  9. Make good use of your grapple hook. It will allow you to quickly get out of a hot situation or close in to take out enemies.

  10. Visit your outposts each day to keep the raiders at bay. Go back and iterate on your outposts and improve them. If a specific setup didn’t work, modify it to make it deadlier.

  11. BONUS TIP! Friend or Foe? The Harvester will show you the way to the Genetic Material but be aware that it can also impede your movement.

See you in the Wasteland!
